Traditional loft boarding is generally not suitable for most new build homes after 1975 due to the thickness of insulation which is 270mm and versus the height of traditional boarding 100mm to 150mm. However, that doesn’t mean new build houses need to forfeit having a useable loft space.

At The Attic Guys we utilise a unique, multi award winning system developed by Loft Legs – XL300. It’s an extremely lightweight system that spreads the load bearing weight evenly, and it’s NHBC approved and will not invalidate your new build warranty. The system has the added advantage of allowing your insulation to breathe, improving energy efficiency and saving money on your heating bills. THE FEATURES

The boarding system showcases galvanised steel cross beams that are adjustable to accommodate irregular joists – meaning our raised boarding is suitable for all lofts! You can then choose which finish of boards you would like to use, to complete the look.

The tri and uni-supports are made from extremely strong engineering grade plastic. This combined with the sub-frame creates a very strong and safe platform in your loft that surpasses the British Standard 6399-1:1996 for minimum imposed floor load requirements.

Our loft boarding product is the ONLY system available in the UK to carry parts with the CE kitemark for British Standards, so you can buy with peace of mind that you’re getting one of the best in the industry.

The Loftzone Storefloor can hold up to an impressive 500kg per square meter (independently tested by www.ceram.com). This means your system can meet the demands of your lifestyle and your home.
