Loft Wrap your Attic Space

IKO Rubbershield Fireguard Housewrap is a low flammability, vapour permeable membrane, for use within framed wall construction as a house wrap.

This vapour permeable breather membrane offers all the characteristics of the current IKO Rubershield range with the added benefit of fire retardant properties that self-extinguish if ignited, providing a solution in line with part B of the Approved Documents – fire regulations.

Loft Leg Battery Powered Pull String Loft Light is perfect for smaller loft sizes that are accessed sporadically – also ideal for smaller budgets.

The Morris Series 6000k Slim LED Batten (4500 lumens) has incredible coverage (c. 40m2) and will last years with intermittent use.

Loft Lid Downlight Cover

The Loft Lid is a simple solution for the safe installation of downlights in a loft space.

The Loft Lid creates a protective barrier or cover over downlights ensuring loft insulation does not directly contact the light fitting and that there is sufficient ventilation around the light for heat dissipation.

The Loft Lid also eliminates heat loss and air leakage into the loft space and allows for a continuous layer of insulation to be laid over the top of the lid to comply with current building regulations.

The unique shape enables the product to be easily installed even when downlights are located close to roof joists or trusses and provides sufficient volume for all major brands of downlighters up to a maximum power rating of 50W*.

The Loft Lid also creates an effective dust, acoustic and pest/insect seal and is extremely easy to install. Better still it is designed and manufactured in the UK, made from fire retardant material and has been tested and approved to British Standards by the UK Lighting Industry Association.

Promote Effective Air Flow in your Loft Space

Felt Lap Vents are a refurbishment product designed to increase the amount of ventilation into existing roof spaces.

Usually fitted retrospectively to properties with additional loft insulation recently installed, however the Felt Lap Vent will help to combat the problem of condensation build up in any roof space with a lapped felt/membrane construction.

The product has been designed as a remedial solution to help overcome the build-up of condensation in the roof space, however like all products that open the felt lap to provide ventilation it does not meet the code of practice B5534:2014 6.6.1.1.

The specifier or user should be aware that the opening of felt laps on the roof may adversely affect the driving rain resistance of the slates, tiles or shingles, as well as increase the wind uplift forces acting on them.
